About
PathDish Tools is a workbench of small, single-purpose browser tools for security, images, colour, data and text.
Why it exists
Most small jobs — generating a password, shrinking a photo, checking a colour, formatting JSON — do not need an account, an upload or a subscription. They need one page that does the job and gets out of the way. That is the whole idea behind this site: twenty tools, each with a single job, each working the moment the page opens.
How it is built
The site is plain HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript. There is no backend, no database and no build server, and no tool calls any external API. Files you open are read on your own device with the browser's File and Canvas APIs; passwords and UUIDs come from the browser's cryptography functions. The only thing the site stores is your light or dark theme preference, and that stays in your own browser.
The rules every tool follows
One page, one job. Results appear as you work, not after a submit. Every tool page states plainly where that tool stops being reliable — because a tool that hides its limits is one you cannot trust with real work.
