URL Encoder

Percent-encode text for URLs, or decode it back, with the right mode for each job.

How to use it

Use Component mode when the text is a value going inside a URL — a search term, a name, a redirect target. Use Full URI mode when you are encoding a complete address and its structure must survive.

Where it stops

The two modes exist because the rules differ by position. Encoding a whole URL in component mode breaks it; encoding a query value in URI mode can let &, = or # split it apart.

Private by design

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type, paste or drop here is sent to PathDish or anywhere else — close the tab and it is gone.
